the 2010 eco veggie awards saw tens of thousands of votes cast over the previous 3 months (March, april and may 2010) and the results are now in. For the list of the places in all 10 categories, see http://bristol.ecoveggiefayre.co.uk/current-results

7,000 at the show

7,000 people enjoyed a weekend of excellent food, shopping,music, entertainment and company at the Bristol eco veggie fayre 2010. Saturday saw 4,500 and sunday 2,500. Thanks to everyone sho supported the show and we hope to see y'all back for 2011

 

Ticket Information

Tickets are no longer available in advance from www.yaoh.co.uk/catalog they are still available from Bristol Ticket Shop until friday May 28th priced £6 each day adults and £3 Kids under 12 and OAP's (+ booking fee). Babies under 12 months are admitted free.

 

Tickets are available on the gate (subject to availabilty - ARRIVE EARLY) priced £7 adults each day before 5pm and £8 after 5pm. Kids and oaps 1/2 price. There is no readmittance to the arena after 7.30pm

People with disabilities are invited to bring their carer on a buy one, get an extra one free basis - please phone the office on 0117 9239053

New Generation Takeover Showcase

New Generation Takeover is run by a group of young promoters and performers from around Bristol that meet weekly to programme events and put on performance opportunities for young people. At Bristol’s Eco Veggie Fayre NGT is putting on 2 hours of live performances featuring Bristol’s finest up and coming urban talent. The slot that NGT group is programming featuring hip-hop, r&b, grime and dubstep from Frenzee (with full live band), Y Dot K, Harts, Keyed Up, Misha B, Digit, Mos Deep and DeeStar. Get ready for the new generation of Bristol talent.

3 Daft Monkeys, The Correspondents and Central Spillz

The Correspondents and Central Spillz join Roots Manuva on the Main Stage on Saturday, with gypsy band 3 Daft Monkeys headlining at 7pm on sunday. So it's dance music Saturday and gypsy fiddles on Sunday! Sorted.

Eco Cinema

The Eco Cinema line up has been announced and includes two new films from Bristol based film maker Steve Taylor - Africa's Green Heart, and Latin America's Green Heart. There is also a screening of PlanEat along with one of the Directors of the film for q's & a's after, and then its Pig Business, which exposes the detruction to the environmnet caused by pig farms, alongside firm fave The Age Of Stupid. Eco Art Expo

The Eco Art Expo goes on display on our website May 21st, the same day as the Exhibition opens at Cafe Kino in Bristol, before moving to the event for may 29th and 30th. There are two themes - 'Wildlife' and 'Subways' and artists are invited to submit their entries to info@yaoh.co.uk . Roots Manuva Headlining Bristol in May - Tickets on Sale

Roots Manuva is the headline act for the Bristol Eco Veggie Fayre May 29th and 30th. Advance Tickets are now on sale priced only £6 each day for adults, £3 Kids under 12 and OAP's.

Eco Veggie Awards - Voting starts March 8th

The Eco Veggie Awards are up and running - there are 10 categories with 10 nominees in each, and you can vote once a month every month for your fave eco friendly, fair trade friendly and veggie friendly people, films, campaigns, products and organisations. Heather Mills Demo Brighton Eco Veggie Fayre March 20

Heather Mills comes to Brighton on March 20th to dispay her cookery talents in a demo at 3pm. Admission is only £3 for adults and £1 for kids and OAP's, the show opens at 11am and is at The Hove Centre, with over 70 stalls in attendance, as well as some stunning caterers.
